Best known as "Fanny Hill", this work has been reprinted numerious times since the first volume was published in c.1748, partially based on the earliest found advertisement in the General Advertiser, Nov. 21, 1748. The second volume appears to have been first published in c. 1749, again partially based on the earliest found advertisement in the General Advertiser, Feb. 14-16, 1749. The two volumes were published as "Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure", London: Printed for G. Fenton [Fenton Griffiths] in the Strand, MDCCXLIX. [Foxon, David.
